Get Back In Balance By Defining Your Non-Negotiables

How’s your balance at work?

Many of my clients describe a workplace environment that is fast-paced and high demand. Rapid change, limited resources and deadlines result in having too much to do and not enough time to do it in. People respond by working extra long hours and even taking work home. Some have told me that during meetings they sneak some work in while trying to look like they are participating. They skip lunch or eat while working and don’t take time for exercise, breaks or reflection time.

The result of all this is they are out of balance, stressed and out of control. How do you break free? Tune in and learn to set your non-negotiables.

Racing In The Dark

Fast! Fast! Fast! You live in a fast world. If you are like most people you speed through the minutes, hours and days of your life trying to keep up: With whom? With What?

With everything. “I’ve got a lot to do today,” you say. “I’m running late you say.” “I’m behind,” you say. Run. Run. Run. Sound familiar?

In today’s world, you are not trotting down life’s country lane as in a one-horse buggy, you are roaring down life’s super highway as in a 1000 hp turbo charged race car.

And there’s an interesting little problem…. you are frequently driving blind.
