Joseph - RE: Secret Paycheck
For me the topic was extremely engaging. I had nearly identical thoughts and feelings this morning after reading an article in the local paper about how a formerly very nice resort/restaurant was being “upscaled” to a daily room rate of $1,800! The essential points for me were: 1) that the attitude of happiness and openness must come first, i.e. you’re not happy because you have X$, but if start by being happy and open to possibility, you will attract the resources you need; and 2) the real payoff is not the money — that’s only a means to an end — the end is the personal growth and increased integrity that comes from implementing your purpose, especially in the face of the inevitable challenges.
